Independence Day

I’ve come to really be attached to a slightly different view of the national fireworks display in DC. There’s a spot just east of the US Capitol where the dome and the Washington Monument are both visible. The wind this year blew all the smoke towards the traditional viewing points, this spot gave me a clear view of the entire display.
